Baseball Recap: Chestatee Comes Up Short

Chestatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Hall Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the War Eagles have suffered since February 25th.

Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 7-21. As for North Hall, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

While Chestatee had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
