North Platte strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Stanberry Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

North Platte's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Stanberry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

North Platte and Stanberry will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers are set to challenge their familiar foe Lathrop at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Stanberry will square off against rival North Andrew at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
