Basketball Recap: Pottstown Takes a Loss

Pottstown came up into this matchup off a tough 44-point loss last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Owen J. Roberts Wildcats by a score of 37-34 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

Despite the loss, Pottstown still got an impressive performance from Jayanna Hill, who posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Kiara Jackson, who earned ten points.

Pottstown's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Owen J. Roberts, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12.

Pottstown will face off against Pottsgrove at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Pottstown is facing Pottsgrove at the right time seeing as Pottsgrove is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Owen J. Roberts, they will challenge Methacton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
