Football Recap: Argo Comes Up Short

Argo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Shepard Astros 48-0. The Argonauts lost against the Astros in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 25-10 score last time.

Argo's record is now 0-7. As for Shepard, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Argo will challenge rival Evergreen Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shepard is set to square off against their familiar foe Reavis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
