Hastings put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Blair Bears a 2-0 shutout. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hastings' win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was AVERY SCHROEDER, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. EMILY KRATZER also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Hastings hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive games.

Hastings' victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Blair, they moved to 15-5 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Hastings wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Gretna on the 13th. As for Blair, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-3 win against Norris on the 13th.
