Football Recap: Tonganoxie Chieftains vs. Lansing Lions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spring Hill, Tonganoxie was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Lansing Lions 40-15. The Chieftains haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

A big part of Tonganoxie's win came down to the chemistry between Bodee Maslak and his top target Jacob Morenz. Maslak threw for 228 yards and two TDs on only 19 passes while Morenz gained 187 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Morenz a new career-high in receiving yards (163).
