Basketball Recap: East Juniata Takes a Loss

East Juniata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 42-29 to the Newport Buffaloes. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buffaloes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

East Juniata's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Newport, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

East Juniata will host Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Newport, they will head out to face off against Millersburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
