Basketball Recap: Marshall Has No Trouble Against Parkview

Marshall's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They greeted the New Year with with a 69-54 win over the Parkview Vikings. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

The victory got Marshall back to even at 5-5. As for Parkview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Marshall will venture away from home to challenge Belleville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkview, they will take on Palmyra-Eagle at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
