Soccer Recap: South Paulding Takes a Loss

South Paulding was the 4-0 winner over Hiram when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Hiram Hornets who were credited with the victory on Friday. The Hiram Hornets got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the South Paulding Spartans' three. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Paulding's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hiram, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Paulding will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on February 25th. Hiram also won't see the pitch for a while: their next contest is against Paulding County at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th.
