Softball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Commerce duked it out with Franklin County on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Lions, falling 12-1. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Franklin County, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Coincidentally, Commerce and Franklin County will both be playing Madison County the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
