Softball Recap: Pace Academy Wins Going Away Against Forest Park + How To Watch

Pace Academy got themselves on the board against Forest Park on Monday, but Forest Park never followed suit. They blew past the Panthers 18-0. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Amelit Hall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Katie Wrigley was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bodhi Venturi, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Pace Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .833. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Forest Park only posted an OBP of .200.

The win made it two in a row for Pace Academy and bumps their season record up to 11-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Forest Park, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12.

Coming up, Pace Academy will venture away from home to challenge East Paulding at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest Park, they will welcome Banneker at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
