Soccer Recap: Lynbrook Takes a Loss

If Lynbrook was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Wilcox last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lynbrook Vikings came up short against the Saratoga Falcons on Tuesday, falling 7-2. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 750th, while the Falcons are ranked 267th).

Zoe Chung and Isha Mani scored both of Lynbrook's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Lynbrook now has a losing record at 3-4-2. As for Saratoga, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1-1.

Lynbrook will face off against Fremont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Saratoga, they will venture away from home to square off against MacDonald at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
