Soccer Recap: LaFayette Takes a Loss

LaFayette managed to keep up with Gilmer until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. LaFayette lost 3-0 to Gilmer. LaFayette's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

LaFayette's record now sits at 1-8. As for Gilmer, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

LaFayette will be taking part in a tournament against Madison Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gilmer, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ringgold at 7:00 p.m. on April 14.
