Softball Recap: Staley Takes a Loss

Staley fell victim to Lee's Summit and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Tigers. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Staley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryleigh Kramer, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Staley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Lee's Summit, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Staley will head out to square off against Lee's Summit West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lee's Summit, they will square off against Raymore-Peculiar at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
