Softball Game Preview: Johnson County Trojans vs. Glascock County Panthers

The Johnson County Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Glascock County Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson County has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Johnson County didn't have quite enough to beat Toombs County and fell 13-12.

Meanwhile, Glascock County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Bulldogs 14-6. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by eight runs or more this season.

Johnson County's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Glascock County, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Johnson County skirted past Glascock County 5-3 in their previous meeting on September 11th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
