Volleyball Recap: Lincoln High Comes Up Short

Lincoln High was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monarchs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21.

Lincoln High's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Papillion-LaVista, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13.

Lincoln High didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Grand Island on the 11th. As for Papillion-LaVista, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Norfolk on the 11th.
