In Saturday's non-league bout, the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs (Papillion, NE) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE), by a margin of 2-0.

The Monarchs now possess a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Norfolk for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. Papillion-LaVista will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 13-9.
