Basketball Game Preview: Justin-Siena Braves vs. Casa Grande Gauchos

Justin-Siena and Casa Grande are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Justin-Siena Braves will welcome the Casa Grande Gauchos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Justin-Siena is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season.

Justin-Siena is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Napa: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Justin-Siena blew Napa out of the water with a 57-9 final score. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 26 points or more this season.

Justin-Siena got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan WASHINGTON out in front who went 5 of 6 on her way to 12 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren KELLER, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 11 points and three steals.

Justin-Siena was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Meanwhile, Casa Grande was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 49-34 to Petaluma.

Casa Grande's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Justin-Siena, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Justin-Siena strolled past Casa Grande in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 61-43. Will Justin-Siena repeat their success, or does Casa Grande have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
