Bishop England gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Carolina Forest Panthers. The Battling Bishops haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Bishop England had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-23.

Carolina Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Coming up, Bishop England will take on Lucy Beckham in a tournament on Friday. As for Carolina Forest, they will venture away from home to face off against Laney at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
