Recap: Harbor Pirates vs. Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors
The Harbor Pirates's game on Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They secured a 34-28 W over Yerba Buena. That's another feather in the cap for Harbor, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Harbor's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julianne Sanguinetti, who scored 11 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Sanguinetti has scored at least 25% of Harbor's points. Gillian Hull was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Harbor pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Yerba Buena, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Harbor will be playing in front of their home fans against El Primero at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. El Primero comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Yerba Buena, they will head out on the road to face off against San Mateo at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
