Volcano Vista faced Cleveland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hawks fell just short of the Storm by a score of 2-1. Volcano Vista were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cleveland apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Volcano Vista's goal came courtesy of Tristen Soto, who's now up to three this season.

As for Cleveland, they are taking a road trip to challenge Rio Rancho at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rio Rancho will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Cleveland surely won't give up without a fight.
