Basketball Recap: Coleville Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Lillian James and Kenna Lange

Coleville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 37-29 to the Pahranagat Valley Panthers. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Coleville's loss came despite strong showings from Kenna Lange and Lillian James. Lange almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds, while James posted six points along with nine boards and three blocks. That's the most blocks James has posted since back in December of 2023.

Coleville's record now sits at 2-5. As for Pahranagat Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coleville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-42 win against Round Mountain on the 14th. As for Pahranagat Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-10 defeat against Eureka on the 14th.
