Soccer Game Preview: Northridge Academy vs. San Fernando

The Northridge Academy Pumas will challenge the San Fernando Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.

Northridge Academy is headed into their matchup with San Fernando looking for a result a bit more satisfying than what they got in their season opener against Reseda last Thursday. Neither the Pumas nor the Regents could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 6-6 draw. A phenomenal three-goal performance from Emmelye Zagal still wasn't enough to secure a win.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when San Fernando challenged Lakeview Charter on Tuesday. The Tigers played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against the Lions. The result (or lack thereof) marked San Fernando's first draw of the season.
