Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Tatum ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Gateway Christian 36-34. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Coyotes considering their six-point performance the game before.

Melrose's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Tatum, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Everything came up roses for Melrose against Tatum in their previous meeting back in October, as the squad secured a 48-6 victory. Will the Buffaloes repeat their success, or do the Coyotes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
