Soccer Recap: Allatoona Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Allatoona proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Ringgold Tigers a 1-0 shutout. Allatoona's winning goal came courtesy of Karim Aissat.

Allatoona's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-4. As for Ringgold, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Allatoona will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Allatoona have won seven straight at home, while Centennial won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Ringgold, they will welcome North Murray at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. North Murray's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
