Soccer Recap: Briggs Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Briggs was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against the Westerville South Wildcats, falling 5-0.

Briggs has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-2 record this season. As for Westerville South, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-8-1.

Coming up, Briggs will be playing in front of their home fans against Marion Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westerville South, they will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Vernon at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
