Christian Brothers had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Davis Sr. Blue Devils to the tune of 70-42. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Christian Brothers' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joy Omishakin, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Omishakin a new career-high in blocks (five). Another player making a difference was Journey Williams, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards.

Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lynnelle Davis, who posted six points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Eva Makus was another key player, putting up eight points.

Christian Brothers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-43 win against El Capitan on the 2nd. As for Davis Sr., they have also already played their next contest, a 54-48 victory against Laguna Creek on the 25th.
