The Northside Patriots will face off against the Harris County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Northside 3.2, Harris County 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Northside had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Shaw on Tuesday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 10-2 victory. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.
Noah Thomason looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Luke Norsworthy was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Jase Shehane was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Harris County came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-3 win over Eufaula.
Jacob Eber and Jackson Starling dominated on the mound. Eber pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Starling didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luke McEldoon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Dimitri, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Harris County hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.
Northside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Harris County, they pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
