Baseball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss

Heritage lost against Grayson last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Patriots fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2. The Patriots' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Heritage saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Lynch, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Grayson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage will head out to face off against Monroe Area at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grayson, they will venture away from home to challenge Buford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
