Soccer Recap: Academy for Classical Education Takes a Loss

Academy for Classical Education was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Mary Persons Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gryphons of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Academy for Classical Education's record now sits at 0-4. As for Mary Persons, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Academy for Classical Education will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Northeast at 7:30 p.m. Academy for Classical Education is facing Northeast at the right time seeing as Northeast is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mary Persons, they will head out on the road to challenge LaGrange at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mary Persons surely won't give up without a fight.
