Baseball Recap: Delavan Comes Up Short

Delavan managed to slip by Cornerstone Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Cyclones on Saturday, falling 13-6. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corie Green made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Delavan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Cornerstone Christian, they moved to 3-13 with that victory, which also ended their 11-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Delavan will be playing at home against ROWVA/Williamsfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
