Soccer Recap: Lucerne Valley Comes Up Short

Lucerne Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Big Bear Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in January.

Lucerne Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Big Bear, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Summit Leadership Academy the next time they take the pitch. Big Bear will host Summit Leadership Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lucerne Valley will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
