Baseball Recap: Discovery Takes a Loss

Discovery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Dacula Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Monday.

Discovery's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Dacula, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.

While Discovery had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
