San Gabriel hasn't lost a match since December 5th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They and the Bellflower Buccaneers finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The Matadors had to tread lightly for part of the match as Rebecca Sanchez and Paisleigh Davis were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

San Gabriel's goal came courtesy of Sanchez, which was the first she's scored this season.

San Gabriel's draw gives them a new season record of 6-1-2. Meanwhile, Bellflower's record is now 1-1-2.

San Gabriel and Ganesha will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bellflower will take on Artesia in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Artesia will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Bellflower surely won't give up without a fight.
