Baseball Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Westwood and David Emanuel Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Westwood had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-4.

Westwood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Swilley, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Bryce Roberts was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for David Emanuel Academy, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

While Westwood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
