Baseball Recap: Islands Comes Up Short

Islands fell victim to Calvary Day and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 15-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Sharks in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Islands' loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Calvary Day, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Islands will challenge Zion Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sharks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
