Football Recap: Ocoee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ocoee was the 35-31 winner over Boone when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Braves by a score of 24-21 on Friday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Ocoee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elijah Thomas picked up 144 receiving yards and one score. Thomas showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 63 yards.

Ocoee's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Boone, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Ocoee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-0 victory against West Port on the 26th. As for Boone, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-7 win against Timber Creek on the 26th.
