Recap: Big Bear Bears vs. Rim of the World Fighting Scots
The Big Bear Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 43-21 walloping at the hands of Rim of the World. Big Bear lost against Rim of the World in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 43-37 score last time.
Big Bear's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colby Allen, who scored 6 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmin Gallegos, who scored 6 points.
Big Bear has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Rim of the World, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Bear will take on Granite Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Granite Hills is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Rim of the World will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bloomington at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th.
