Jefferson had lost 11 straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 1-20 to make it 12. They came up short against the El Camino Colts, falling 17-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jefferson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Tua, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

As for El Camino, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

On El Camino's side, Adrian I?iguez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). I?iguez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, El Camino let Carlos Alcala and Nicholas Jang run wild. Alcala went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Jang went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Jang is becoming a predictor of El Camino's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Quentin Bromaghim, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: El Camino beat Jefferson by a score of 11-0 on Thursday.
