Soccer Game Preview: Galt vs. El Dorado

The Galt Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the El Dorado Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Galt will be strutting in after a win while El Dorado will be coming in after a loss.

Galt's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Bradshaw Christian. That three goal margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Shantiny Lemus and Bayley Miller scored all three of Galt's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for El Dorado's offense. They fell 2-0 to Rosemont on Wednesday. The Cougars have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

El Dorado's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Galt, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went Galt's way against El Dorado when the teams last played back in January, as Galt made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Galt since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
