Flour Bluff came tearing into Tuesday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Ray Texans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Flour Bluff was: they took every set by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-8, 25-6.

Alyssa Thornton paced Flour Bluff's offense, picking up 13 kills. Thornton got some help from Lola Fisher and her 16 assists. Fisher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Flour Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Ray, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Flour Bluff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Santa Fe on the 28th. As for Ray, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Mathis on the 28th.
