Even if the Royals couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Watertown-Mayer now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Holy Family Catholic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Holy Family Catholic against Watertown-Mayer when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 32-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fire since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
