Football Game Preview: Chaska Hawks vs. Waconia Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Chaska Hawks will head out on the road to square off against the Waconia Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Chaska will head out to face Waconia after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Hawks took a hard 28-14 fall against Chanhassen. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Storm are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Waconia challenged Mankato East on Friday. The Wildcats and the Cougars were almost perfectly matched up, but the Wildcats suffered a 22-21 loss.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Chaska, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-2.

Chaska barely slipped by Waconia in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 13-12. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
