Softball Recap: Pine Grove Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Pine Grove faced off against Hamilton on Saturday. The Panthers came up short against the Lions, falling 16-4.

Pine Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edie Chapman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Pine Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hamilton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Pine Grove will square off against Tremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton, they will take on Saltillo at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday.
