Cairo waltzed into their contest on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Brookwood Warriors 11-3. The Syrupmakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Cairo's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Brookwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Cairo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-3 victory against Peach County on the 30th. As for Brookwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Tiftarea Academy on the 30th.
