Baseball Recap: Monday's Defeat Ends East Longmeadow's Winning Streak

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, East Longmeadow finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the Minnechaug Regional Falcons, falling 16-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Spartans have suffered against the Falcons since April 25, 2024.

East Longmeadow saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Krol, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The loss snapped East Longmeadow's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-6 record. As for Minnechaug Regional, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7.
