Football Recap: Circle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Circle and Buhler had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Thunderbirds came up short against the Crusaders on Friday, falling 42-20. The Thunderbirds haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Circle still got an impressive performance from Cole Wilbur, who rushed for 79 yards and one TD on only ten carries.

Circle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Buhler, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Circle will welcome Winfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbirds will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Buhler, they are taking a road trip to square off against Wamego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
