Football Recap: Circle Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Circle and Buhler had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Thunderbirds lost 42-20 to the Crusaders on Friday. The Thunderbirds haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Circle saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cole Wilbur rushed for 79 yards and one TD on only ten carries.

Circle's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Buhler, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Circle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-21 defeat against Winfield on the 3rd. As for Buhler, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 27-14 loss against Wamego on the 3rd.
