Baseball Recap: Morrow Mustangs vs. M.L. King Lions
Morrow extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-6. They lost 11-1 to the M.L. King Lions. That's the most strikeouts Banks has posted since back in February of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Evan Fulks, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. He has become a key player for M.L. King: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-2 otherwise. Brandon Ray was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, one triple, and one double.
Coming up, Morrow will challenge Eagle's Landing at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for M.L. King, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-0 win against Redan on the 25th.
