There's no place like home for McLane, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 33-24 victory over the Justin Garza Guardians on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Highlanders: when they faced off against the Guardians back in January, they had to take a 45-19 loss.

Despite the loss, Justin Garza still got an impressive performance from Tyla Maxey, who posted 17 points. Maxey's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

McLane's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 10-15. As for Justin Garza, they dropped their record down to 9-15 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.
